Police are searching for a man after a fight in Aberdeen ended with gunshots early Saturday morning. Lieutenant Kevin S. Darst with the Aberdeen Police Department said that officers were called to the report of a fight outside of the Northwest Passage on Curtis Street just after 2 am Saturday, September 16th. While en route, officers were advised of possible gun shots fired in the area.

Investigators learned that a man had fired several shots from a handgun into a red pickup following a confrontation. The suspected shooter fled the scene in a white 4 door passenger car which was not located.

Darst said that several people were injured in the fight, but no one was transported to the hospital and there were no apparent gunshot injuries.

Multiple witnesses identified the suspected shooter, who Darst said is known to police and is being sought in conjunction with the shooting. The investigation is on-going at this time.
