The bodies of two people were recovered from the water near the South Jetty, on the Grays Harbor coast, after their small boat capsized Sunday morning.

The US Coast Guard said in a tweet Sunday morning that 1 person was reported in the water wearing a lifejacket after an aluminum boat reportedly capsized near the south jetty. They said that locals on the jetty tried to retrieve the vessel and person.

The names of the two are not being released yet. Both bodies were positively identified and next of kin was being notified Sunday.
