A two-vehicle wreck on the highway in Central Park yesterday injured two people. The Washington State Patrol reports a 28-year-old Aberdeen woman was attempting to turn onto the Westbound lanes of US Highway 12 from Hill Road around 4:45 pm Thursday evening.

Her 2001 Honda Odyssey Van pulled out in front of an Eastbound 1994 BMW and was struck broadside.

The driver of the BMW, a 21-year-old Aberdeen man, was not injured. His passenger, a 19-year-old Elma woman, and the other driver were both transported to Community Hospital in Aberdeen with undisclosed injuries.

The State Patrol report said both vehicles were towed from the scene. The cause, and any charges stemming from the accident are pending investigation.
