A 19-year old Taholah man escaped serious injury when he was involved in a series of collisions in Aberdeen early Saturday morning.

Aberdeen Police officers responded to a collision in the 1300 block of Sumner Avenue just before 4 AM. The 1999 Toyota 4-Runner failed to make the bend from northbound Alder Street onto westbound Sumner Avenue and struck an unoccupied 2005 Kia Spectra and a 2003 Toyota Corolla, parked on the south shoulder of the road, before rolling over and striking a nearby residence.

Nobody in the home was injured, the resident was also the owner of one of the vehicles struck. The 19-year old was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital before being arrested and processed for investigation of driving under the influence then released to parents.
