A 57 year old Aberdeen man was arrested on investigation of rape charges after a Taholah woman reported being held against her will in his apartment for days. Aberdeen Police Captain John Green tells us On 2/5/15, at 4:49 P.M. a 44 year old Taholah female reported multiple alleged sexual assaults that were to have occurred at an apartment located in the 200 block of East Wishkah Street between the dates of 1/31/15 and 2/5/15.

The victim reported that on 1/31/15 she came into contact with a male subject who she recognized, although she said she did not know his name. The victim said she accepted the males invitation to go to his apartment on 1/31/15.

The victim told the police that she was held against her will at the mans apartment, and reported multiple sexual assaults by the man from 2/1/15 to 2/5/15.

On 2/5/15 another male subject that the victim knows came to the apartment. The woman reported that she was able to leave with the man, and was taken to the hospital where the incident was reported to the Aberdeen Police Department.

On 2/6/15 at about 8:00 P.M. Aberdeen Detective Dave Cox came in to assist on the case. Cox applied for, and was granted, a search warrant for the apartment where the alleged incident took place in. Detective Cox and other Aberdeen Officers located the suspect at the apartment. He was identified and arrested for Rape in the First degree. The apartment was process for evidence.

The suspect, a 57 year old Aberdeen male was booked into the City of Aberdeen jail.

Green said the investigation is continuing.
