A Tacoma man was charged with reckless driving after rolling an ATV with two child-passengers on the beach near Ocean Shores over the weekend. The Washington State Patrol said it was reported just after 3 PM Sunday.

Donut-patterns North of the Illahee beach approach led officers to where the 2016 Polaris RZR had rolled onto its left side. Two 13-year-old passengers were uninjured, the 30-year-old driver was transported to Community Hospital in Aberdeen with undisclosed injuries.

Trooper Rabe said the cause was reckless driving, charges could include reckless driving and reckless endangerment.
