Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews have resumed efforts to reopen State Route 109 in Hoquiam after driving rain triggered earth movement above the highway.
WSDOT maintenance crews will remove trees and material lodged above the roadway.
Until the work is complete, the highway will remain closed until further notice. The reopening is dependent on work progress and weather.
