Shelton Police arrested a man after he allegedly assaulted a friend with a crow bar then went to the casino. Lieutenant Les Watson with the Shelton Police Department tells us they were contacted by the victim around 11 Friday night. A 26 year old Shelton man said he was struck in the head with a crow bar and robbed of his cash and cell phone at a home in the 200 block of Arcadia Avenue. Investigators identified the suspect as 29 year old Janus Afo of Shelton, and learned that he was at the Little Creek Casino a few miles South of Shelton. He was located, and booked into the Mason County Jail on charges of Robbery 1, Felony Harassment, and Assault 2.

Watson said the parties involved in the incident are familiar with each other; it is likely that drugs played a role in the event.
