The semiannual crab feeds are fund raising events for the Shelton Elks Lodge. The proceeds are used to help fund the Lodge’s many non-profit activities such as our Drug Awareness Program, Hoop Shoot, Veterans Program, and Youth Sports and Scholarships. David Thompson, Lodge president, said, “Due to the many groups the Crab Feed funds help, this public event can easily sell out, so advance tickets are highly recommended.”

Shelton Elks Lodge is part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE), a national fraternal order, founded “To promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowship”.
