A semi truck rolled off the road between Hoquiam and Quinault yesterday, the wheels on its box trailer were visible to drivers on U.S. Route 101 for hours as the truck was eventually towed from the scene. The Washington State Patrol reports that a 1998 Kenworth Semi truck was traveling South on 101 near milepost 99 when the driver failed to negotiate the curve and the truck went off the road, flipped on its side, and came to rest against a tree.

A 36-year-old Des Moines, Washington man was the only occupant, he was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen with undisclosed injuries. The driver was cited for Speeding, too fast for conditions.
