With the 60-day Legislative Session underway in Olympia, Representative Brian Blake and Senator Dean Takko are hosting a telephone town hall for the 19th Legislative District this Thursday evening.

Blake said in a press release last Friday, “The 2020 Legislative Session began this week and, as you know, it’s a short one (60 days), so things happen very quickly. That’s why Senator Dean Takko and I decided to hold our telephone town hall early in the session.”

The telephone town hall will begin at 6 pm, calls will go out to thousands of homes (landlines) throughout the 19th Legislative District. If you do not receive the call, you can still participate by dialing 877-229-8493 and using ID Code 116278.

Alternatively, you can also live-stream the telephone town hall:

  • Go to their Vekeo channel and sign up now to be called when the event begins. (You can also use that link to sign up for future telephone town halls, and to listen to past events.)
  • Or, if you forget to sign up, you can head over to this page Thursday at 6 pm to listen in and ask questions.

Blake concluded, “We hope you will join us during this one-hour call next week. We want to hear from you so we can bring your concerns and ideas to the table, both in the House and the Senate, over the next few weeks.”
