Aberdeen Police say they arrested an alleged sex offender last week after he failed a polygraph test that he requested in order to prove his innocence.
Leutenant Kevin Darst tells us that after reviewing a sex offense reported earlier this year, investigators found other accusations involving the same suspect.
Detective Jeff Weiss was assigned the case and reviewed the other accusations, working with the Child Advocacy Center to complete interviews with victims. During the investigation, the suspect contacted Detective Weiss, asking for a polygraph test to prove his innocence.
On April 12th the man was interviewed at the Aberdeen Police Department and failed the test, he then confessed to both of the child molestation cases, and was arrested.
Aberdeen Police identified the man as Nicholas Kibilowski, the 28 year old Aberdeen man was arraigned in Superior Court and remains in Grays Harbor County Jail.
