The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency is hosting a pair of Tsunami Awareness Forums at 2:00 p.m. today and tomorrow. On the 18th the forum will be at the South County Administration Building located at 7013 Sandridge Road, in Meeting Room A. On the 19th the forum will be held at the Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce Community Center, 916 W. First Street in South Bend. Representatives from the International Tsunami Information Center will be presenting information along with representatives from the Washington State Emergency Management Division.
These presentations will be designed specifically for the local business community so they can be prepared on a personal level, a business level and a customer protection level. Tsunamis are survivable events and these forums will help businesses to prepare with survival in mind.
