A two vehicle accident sent four to the hospital yesterday morning, after an SUV drifted off of the road, over corrected, and slid sideways into an oncoming vehicle. The Washington State Patrol reports a 2000 Dodge Durango was headed West on State Route 6 about 8 miles East of Raymond, when it drifted into a gravel shoulder, over corrected, and slid sideways into an oncoming 2011 Ford Fusion.
A 62 year old Raymond man driving the Durango, and a 15 year old Raymond passenger were wearing their seatbelts. They, along with a 67 year old Port Angeles man, and a 65 year old woman in the Fusion were transported to Willipa Harbor Hospital with various injuries.
The State Patrol reports a cause and any charges stemming from the accident remain under investigation.
