Classes will start on time Friday morning in the North Beach School District after deputies with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office investigated a suspicious message sent to some students. District Superintendent Stan Pinnick tells us that the email was sent out to twenty or more students Thursday afternoon.
Pictured in our story, the email was titled “the big note!…” and read “Dear everyone I hate the school so guess what your all in for a big surprise find out tomorrow.” with a string of “HA’s,” followed by “Ps flabby cheese”
Pinnick said that deputies were able to track the email back to the originating computer, and talked with the student’s parents at their home Thursday evening. After deputies determined that the email was not a risk, the district made the decision to not delay or otherwise cancel school.
