The National Weather Service has delayed a Wind Advisory for today, it’s now in effect from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Southeast winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Some affected areas are, but not limited to, Westport, Ocean Shores, Moclips and Hoquiam. Strong southeast winds will develop Wednesday morning and continue into the afternoon.

Wind advisories have been expanded to include the Washington Coast and the Northern Washington interior from Whidbey Island northward to the Canadian Border for Wednesday. The wind advisory for the East Puget Sound Lowlands tonight remains in effect through 6 AM Wednesday. The Hydrologic Outlook for Mason County has been changed to a Flood Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon. Winter storm warnings and advisories have been issued for the Washington Cascades for this afternoon through Wednesday night.
