On Sunday, Dec 20th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Grays Harbor Chamber Singers and Orchestra will join forces with Seattle’s Vestr Singers to present a concert of beautiful choral music for the Christmas season.  The centerpiece of the program will be the Christmas portion of one of the most beloved choral masterworks of all time, G.F. Handel’s Messiah.  Admission is by donation, and proceeds go to Feed the Hungry.  Suggested donation is $12 adults/$10 students and seniors.
The Grays Harbor Chamber Singers are a select ensemble made up of outstanding musicians from the community.  The group was formed in 2014 with the goal of bringing high-quality choral art music to the Harbor.  The Vestr Singers are a 7-voice vocal ensemble of professional singers from the Seattle area.  Members of the Vestr Singers have performed with some of the finest ensembles and theater companies in the Pacific Northwest, been featured in soundtracks of films and blockbuster video games, and worked across Western Washington State as music educators, liturgical musicians and game developers.  The Vestr Singers have performed in venues ranging from St. James Cathedral to Safeco Field.  Both groups are directed by Ian Dorsch of Aberdeen.
