A man was arrested last week with property from several recent burglaries in Central Park. Undersheriff David Pimentel with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office said that late Thursday night deputies developed information on a recently-stolen quad that was spotted in the back of a pickup truck in the south beach area. Deputies subsequently located and stopped the vehicle and arrested a 30-year-old white male from the Shelton area.
Upon further investigation, the quad located in the back of the pickup truck was confirmed to be stolen from the Central Park area. The 30 year old male was taken into custody for Possession of Stolen Property.
Pimentel said that numerous items of stolen property from four separate burglaries in the Central Park area between September 21 and September 26 were located in the back of the pickup truck. Sheriff’ s Detectives later served a search warrant on the vehicle.
Detectives will be working to process the evidence as well as working with the Grays Harbor County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with the hopes of returning the stolen property to the victims this week. The investigation is ongoing.
