A 42-year-old Lakewood woman was arrested last week after Aberdeen Police received multiple reports of counterfeit $100 bills being used at local businesses.

Police were looking for the woman and her vehicle by description, Thursday afternoon an Aberdeen officer located the vehicle and the female was taken into custody. Detectives executed a search warrant on the vehicle Friday and recovered a stash of counterfeit $100 bills, drug paraphernalia, multiple printers, along with mail and other personal effects of other people.

The female was booked on forgery charges in the Aberdeen Police Department Jail.
