Grays Harbor Transit is seeking commuter input on service between Aberdeen and Olympia, as well as potential new park-and-ride locations on the same route. Transit Authority Commissioner Randy Ross read from a statement during their meeting this week, “Grays Harbor Transit and its consultant the KFH Group, Inc. invites community input in January 2020 on express commuter bus service between Aberdeen and Olympia.”
A couple of community meetings have been scheduled for later this month to detail express bus service. Currently, the transit offers seven daily round trips to Olympia on weekdays, and 4 on Saturdays and Sundays. They also offer one express trip at 6 am on weekdays which makes only one stop and arrives in Olympia at 7:25 am. Administrators are considering increased express services and are seeking input.
