On November 16th, the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office and the Long Beach Police Department concluded a two-month-long joint narcotics investigation that culminated with the service of a search warrant and the arrest of an Ilwaco man. Travis W. Middleton, age 52, was arrested without incident at his home located in the 7000 block of Ortelius Drive.
Through the use of a confidential informant, three purchases of methamphetamine were conducted from Travis Middleton over the course of the past month, during the joint investigation. All three deliveries of methamphetamine by Travis Middleton occurred within 1000 feet of a designated school bus stop.
During the service of the search warrant at Middleton’s residence, deputies and officers located 2 bags of suspected methamphetamine in Middleton’s bedroom. A further search of Middleton’s room also produced a digital weigh scale with white residue on it, narcotics packaging materials and ledgers with suspected clients and notes showing money owed. A large bag of psilocybin mushrooms was also located in his bedroom.
Middleton was transported to the Pacific County Jail for booking on 3 counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to deliver and one count of Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms. Middleton is currently held on $ 50,000.00 bail.
