The Grays Harbor Community Foundation this week announced the investment of over $273,000 into the community through their Community Building Grants program.  The projects awarded this cycle range from property renovations to emergency shelters.

A press release from the organization said “We were able to partner with the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound to leverage our funds to add an additional $27,000 to support South Beach area projects. Together, we awarded $300,000 to organizations throughout Grays Harbor County this cycle.”

The American Legion Post 5 Aberdeen – Roof Renovation

The Chehalis Valley Historical Museum – Roof Replacement

Child Care Action Council – Strengthening Family Services Programming

City of Westport – City Park Playground Equipment Replacement

Chaplains on the Harbor– Cold Weather Shelter

Lake Quinault School District – Outdoor Education School Program

Friends of the Library of Ocean Shores – Computer Work Stations for Ocean Shores Public Library

Gravity Grays Harbor – Project Hope Grant

Grays Harbor College Foundation –  Student Success Grant

Ocean Shores Elementary Partners in Education – New Playground Equipment

Olympic Area Agency on Aging – Grays Harbor Senior Emergency Fund

Summit Pacific Medical Center – Community Fitness and Family Activity Park Completion

Shiloh Bible Camp – Heat Pump

The Bridge Music Project – Songwriting Workshops for At-Risk Youth

Washington State University Foundation – Grays Harbor County Diabetes Prevention Program

YMCA of Grays Harbor – Camp Bishop – Dining Hall Renovation
