The Grays Harbor Community Foundation is pleased to invest $27,000 into our community through our Small Grants Program. This program addresses immediate, smaller scale needs in our community that range between $500 – $5,000. Our Small Grants program is a quarterly addition to our twice annual Community Building Grants Program. Eight organizations were funded this quarter.

The organizations that were funded through our Small Grants Program this quarter include:

Aberdeen Parks and Rec – Summer Park and Play
Aberdeen Police Department – Volunteers in Police Service
Camp Victory – Resident Camps for Sexual Abuse Survivors
Grays Harbor Youth Works – Capacity Building 
McCleary Civic Renewal Council – Community Movie Nights
Polson Park & Museum – Polson Museum Collections Storage Improvements
WHOLE Harbor/Aberdeen Sunday Market – Market Match Program
YMCA of Grays Harbor – Youth Leadership Conference

Eric Potts, Executive Director, commented: “In 2019 we will invest over $2.8M back into Grays Harbor. It is an honor and a privilege to work with these deserving organizations. We are constantly reminded of all the great work being done in our community thanks to the hard work being done on a daily basis by our local agencies and nonprofits.”
