The Grays Harbor Community Foundation is proud to offer opportunities to support Grays Harbor students in their post-secondary education. Beginning January 4th through March 15th the foundation is accepting scholarship applications for students that are Grays Harbor County residents or graduated from a Grays Harbor County high school planning to attend college or vocational programs. They also offer renewal scholarships for past scholarship recipients for up to three additional years of undergraduate schooling.
In 2015, the Foundation awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to over 330 students attending universities and programs all throughout the United States. This year, they plan to give scholarships ranging from $1,000-$20,000 to help students in our community attain their educational and career goals.
To apply visit their website at www.gh-cf.org. If you have questions regarding the application, contact Jessica Hoover, Program Officer, at [email protected] or (360) 532-1600.
“The Grays Harbor Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is known in our community for giving grants to other non-profits in Grays Harbor County and for scholarships for Grays Harbor youth, but that is not our business. Our real business is helping people, families, groups, and businesses be philanthropic or charitable. We provide the administrative and investment management services that make it easy for donors to be involved at whatever level they wish, and to accomplish their charitable goals with their tax deductible donations that improve the quality of life in Grays Harbor.”
