Failure to merge with traffic was the cause of a wreck on State Route 12 near the Monte Brady Road that resulted in three being transported to area hospitals yesterday evening. The Washington State Patrol reports that a 1996 Honda Accord turned East onto 12 from the Monte-Brady road near milepost 15 but failed to yield to other Eastbound traffic and was struck by a 2015 Lexus CT.

The Honda driver, a 56-year-old Montesano man, was reported not wearing his seatbelt. He was transported to Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Pulled from the Lexus, a 40-year-old man, and 34-year-old woman both from Redmond were transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, all with undisclosed injuries.

Both vehicles were totaled in the wreck that was reported at 5:18 PM Sunday, November 24, 2019.
