A 54 yeah old Brinnon man died at the scene of a head on collision last night North of Shelton. The Washington State Patrol tells us his 2005 Hyundai Accent was headed North on State Route 3. As he approached a vehicle stopped to turn onto Anthony Road, he crossed into the Southbound lane and collided head on with a full size 1995 Chevy truck. A 52 year old Redmond man in that truck was also injured, and transported to a Bremerton hospital.
The Washington State Patrol cited “Unsafe Passing” as the cause of the accident that claimed the life of 54 year old Monte Mesick of Brinnon, Washington.
