The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office has a new Undersheriff. A press release from the department said that on Monday, Sheriff Rick Scott promoted Chief Criminal Deputy Brad Johansson to the position of Undersheriff, replacing retired Undersheriff Dave Pimentel.
Undersheriff Johansson has moved through the ranks servings as a Sergeant, Lieutenant and Chief Criminal Deputy. The Undersheriff is second in command to the Sheriff and it is an administrative position that supervises all the administrative functions of the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Scott also promoted Carson Steiner to the position of Sergeant during a ceremony yesterday. Sgt. Steiner started his career in the jail and has been working in patrol since March of 2014.
