Police are investigating vandalism and a break-in late Friday night and early Saturday morning in East Aberdeen. Lt. Dale Green said in a press release this morning that at approximately 01:59 AM Saturday, Aberdeen Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary in progress at the Sprint Store, in the 1100 block of East Wishkah Street. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a large window was apparently broken out with a shopping cart and an unknown amount of product was stolen. There was also fresh red spray-painted graffiti on an intact window and no suspect(s) was located.
Approximately fourteen minutes earlier, Aberdeen Officers were dispatched to a similar call where the complainant was reporting red spray paint graffiti to a parked vehicle. No suspect(s) was located.
Officers are reviewing video surveillance from the area to attempt to identify the suspect(s) and determine if the malicious mischiefs and the burgarly are related.
