The 36th annual FoodBall competition between Aberdeen and Hoquiam school districts starts this Friday, November 3.

Students will be canvassing the neighborhoods for donations of cash or non-perishable food donations. Last year the two teams took in a combined total of over 1.2-million pounds of food.

Bobcats are kicking off the event with a carnival at the High School from 5:30 to 9 Friday night. The Grizzlies are starting with a take over of the Grizzly Den from 5-8pm Friday night.

Cash is worth 10 pounds per dollar collected. The final weigh-in will be held at the Grays Harbor PUD on Monday, November 13th at 5 pm.
