Power outage at South side Swanson’s, Doritos still 2/$5

ABERDEEN, Wash. - A couple of tripped transformers and the South side Swanson's store was without power for most of the afternoon, staff said the power dropped around 3 Tuesday. The Grays Harbor PUD reports the outage was specific to their line into the store, and no other homes on that side of town were affected. Crews worked off of Boone street until late Tuesday evening to make repairs. They remained open, handing out flashlights to shoppers that dared into the darker corners of the store.

GH PUD plans power outage in Ocean Shores November 7th

ABERDEEN, Wash. - The Grays Harbor PUD will be conducting a planned outage on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 10:00p.m. The outage is expected to last approximately 10 hours, and is necessary for system repairs to improve reliability.
Customers that will be affected are those located in Ocean Shores from the intersection of SR109 and SR115 to the south. Residents in Hogan’s Corner will not be affected.
In preparation for this outage, we recommend you take precautions with any electronic equipment such as computers, televisions, and microwaves by unplugging those items. You should leave them disconnected until after the power has been fully restored.

In addition, customers are advised that the length of the outage is an estimate and power could be restored at any time. For that reason, it is not safe to make repairs to your electrical system without having the power disconnected at your specific location.

GH PUD plans power outage in North Grays Harbor November 7th

ABERDEEN, Wash. - The Grays Harbor PUD will be conducting a planned outage on Thursday, November 7, 2013 beginning at 10:00p.m. The outage is expected to last approximately 3 hours, and is necessary for system repairs to improve reliability.
Customers that will be affected are those located on the following roads: Burrows Road, Bayberry Drive, Branch B Road, North Shore Place, Hogan Road, Dusty Lane, Orton Lane, and also customers from 1380 State Route 109 to 1440 State Route 109.
In preparation for this outage, we recommend you take precautions with any electronic equipment such as computers, televisions, and microwaves by unplugging those items. You should leave them disconnected until after the power has been fully restored.

In addition, customers are advised that the length of the outage is an estimate and power could be restored at any time. For that reason, it is not safe to make repairs to your electrical system without having the power disconnected at your specific location.

PUD Plans power outage North of Amanda Park Friday, October 18

ABERDEEN, Wash. - Grays Harbor PUD will be conducting a planned outage on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m. on the same day. The outage is necessary for system repairs to improve reliability.
Customers that will be affected are those located north of Crane Creek along State Highway 101, including Clearwater Road, Queets, Kalaloch Lodge and National Park facilities in that location. Amanda Park and Lake Quinault areas will not be affected.
In preparation for this outage, we recommend you take precautions with any electronic equipment such as computers, televisions, and microwaves by unplugging those items. You should leave them disconnected until after the power has been fully restored.

Planned Power Outage Near Oakville April 26

OAKVILLE, Wash. - Grays Harbor PUD plans to conduct a planned power outage impacting about 65 customers located in the area of Highway 12 near Oakville from milepost 33.28 (just north of Cedar Creek Road) to Cedar Street. The outage is scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2012 beginning at 10am and lasting about 6 hours. The purpose for the outage is to install equipment to improve system reliability. Customers in the planned outage area are being notified by letter.

 

Customers within the planned outage area are advised to protect sensitive electronic equipment such as computers, televisions, and microwaves by unplugging those items and leaving them disconnected until power is fully restored.  In addition, customers are advised that the length of the outage (6 hours) is an estimate and power could be restored at anytime. Therefore, please take necessary precautions if there are plans to do electrical work or repairs during that period of time.
