Police arrested a man over the weekend suspected of a drive-by shooting in Aberdeen earlier this month.
On the afternoon of May 12th, a 26-year-old man was shot once in the arm while walking in the 300 Block of West King Street in South Aberdeen. The victim described their attackers as male, one White and one Hispanic driving a newer black Infinity G-35 2-door coupe with black wheels.
Deputy Chief Dave Timmons with the Aberdeen Police Department said this morning that one of the suspects was arrested without incident Sunday night. The man is being held on charges of Assault in the first degree, and drive-by-shooting.
The vehicle thought to be involved in the shooting was also recovered. Police also secured and executed search warrants for the suspect’s vehicle and residence.
