ARTIC, Wash. - Beginning thursday afternoon, motorists can expect signal-controlled, one-way, alternating traffic on US 101 near the SR 107 interchange in Artic as crews shift traffic onto a new temporary roadway.

Motorists will use this temporary roadway for the next two months while crews replace a Mosquito Creek culvert that WSDOT identified as a fish barrier. Fish barriers prevent migratory fish from reaching upstream habitat.
