ABERDEEN, Wash. - The Grays Harbor Republican Party elected Beth DeVaul of Elma as its new Chairwoman at the party’s July 2 Central Committee Meeting. Ms. DeVaul replaces Michael Thompson, who was removed from office on May 7. DeVaul served as the party’s Vice Chair and Acting/Interim Chair until being officially voted into the Chairmanship last week by an overwhelming majority.
In a statement from Ms. DeVaul, “we have a strong team that will be working hard to build on the momentum generated during the last election, will focus on recruiting quality candidates, and growing the party through grassroots efforts.”
Ms. DeVaul is a Precinct Committee Officer and has worked on several local and state campaigns and has been involved with the Republican Party in Oregon andWashington for more than a decade.
