Helicopter crashes into waters of Grays Harbor

A Good Samaritan recovered the two people aboard the helicopter at approximately 6 a.m.  It was reported only the pilot suffered minor injuries.

A Coast Guard MH-60 helicopter crew from Group/Air Station Astoria confirmed that a light sheen was spotted but quickly dissipated.  The helicopter has been removed from the water, and it was determined there was minimal threat to the environment.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
