Aberdeen, WA - Last weekend Grays Harbor College’s Phi Theta Kappa, "Beta Iota" members attended the spring Conference at Tacoma Community College. The local chapter was recognized regionally, taking 1st Place Honors in Action Distinguished Theme 1 for their "Message of Hope" project, Stephanie Becker worked countless hours on this project (A Message of Hope). "She did a wonderful job and her efforts are much appreciated!" said local Vice President Megan Haviland.
Cal Erwin-Svoboda took 2nd Place for the Paragon Award for New advisors, and the chapter's facebook page took 3rd place.
