House Fire at Top of Scammel Blocks Road

Aberdeen, WA - Hoquiam and Aberdeen fire units quickly dowsed a housefire at the corner of sixth and scammel streets. Aberdeen police had closed both streets at that intersection to accomodate fire hoses across the road. Smoke was seen coming from around the chimney, and the day basement garage. No injuries were reported as units arrived on the scene just after 10:30 this morning.
