Elma House fire Prompts Multi-County Response

ELMA, Wash. - Grays Harbor and Mason county fire departments responded to a house fire in the 300 block of the East Satsop Road last night. Fire district 2, as well as 12 from Mason County supplied more than 4 trucks and 6 water tenders to the remote house near Schafer State Park. No injuries were reported, the homeowners were reportedly out of town on vacation. The cause and source of the fire is under investigation.
