Aberdeen, WA - The Port of Grays Harbor yesterday moved closer to taking over the Satsop Business Park. The Port, and Grays Harbor PDA boards signed an interlocal agreement at a joint meeting that allows staff to work together towards consolidation.
Executive Director at the Port, Gary Nelson said there's still a lot to be done before anything changes hands "if it does happen we look at it as a division of the Port of Grays Harbor, much like Westport or the airport.
Both the PDA and Port will hold public workshops next week to provide information on the proposal, at the Satsop Business Park Tuesday at 5:30, then at the Port of Grays Harbor offices on Wednesday at 5:30.
