No-Smoquiam Council Extinguishes Park Smoking

Hoquiam, WA - The Hoquiam city council last night adopted a new ordinance, banning smoking of any type, in public parks.

The new ordinance states it is unlawful to smoke anywhere on the premise of a park, including Sunset Memorial park, and Cememtery, violators face a $150 fine, and stern glares from non smokers nearby.
