Markham, WA - Westport Winery will host the inaugural Aloha and Albacore Festival on all four Sundays in August. This first time festival will include live Hawaiian music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all four dates with hula lessons on the top of the hour. A bonus festival date has also been announced for Labor Day Sunday, September 2 at the winery’s last Yappy Hour of the season with the longer hours.

The winery will be serving complimentary Hawaiian soup to guests of all ages. The winery in collaboration with Nelson Seafood in Tokeland will be offering albacore sampling.

The specialty wine cocktail served in the winery’s restaurant during this event is a Blue Hawaiian martini made with Westport’s fortified Riesling wine called Float. The winery has released three new wine vintages this week: Going Coastal, Peaches on the Beaches (now a peach Riesling blend) and Smoky Nor’wester (their first Sangiovese). Those over 21 are welcome to sample up to five of Westport’s 33 award-winning wines for $5. (Wine club members and their guests taste for free.)

The winery’s new solar array is fully functional and the perfect place to enjoy the Hawaiian music outside while taking in the incredible gardens. Come and discover the Aloha spirit for yourself at Westport Winery.

Westport Winery and Vineyards By-the-Sea with the outdoor sculpture garden, grape maze, and bakery, is located on the corner of Highway 105 and South Arbor Road halfway between Aberdeen and Westport.
