MONTESANO, Wash. - The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program teaches disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact this area and trains participants in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organiza-tion, and disaster medical operations. CERT begins Friday evening June 08th from 5-9pm at Grays Harbor College, Building 1500 (library) room 1512. (A Campus Map is Attached) The additional class dates are Saturday June 9th from 8am -5pm and on Saturday June 16 from 8am to 5pm. All are welcome to attend the FREE 20 hour class. The course is taught with classroom instruction for the first two sessions and practical exercises during the last session. Meals are not provided.
