Roll-Your-Own Cigarette Prices Rise July 1

Aberdeen, WA - Operators of roll-your-own cigarette stores will be making some changes next month, some stores might just close Kelsy Tikka from U-Count Tobacco in Aberdeen says "If it does go into effect we're going to try to operate, but we will loose business."

Tikka said a lawsuit is expected to be filed later this week seeking an injunction on the new legislation set to take effect July 1.
Under the new legislation, about 60 stores across Washington will begin stamping and taxing Roll-Your-Own (RYO) cigarettes more like regular cigarettes.
