The second annual Grays Harbor Outdoor Adventure & Travel Expo will open a two-day run April 28 & 29 at the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds. The Expo will feature popular TV personalities from the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” Eva Shockey of “Jim Shockey Hunting Adventures” plus Glen Hall of the popular outdoor fishing and hunting show “Hawg Quest.” Appearing on Saturday will be crewmembers from the Deadliest Catch cable series, in addition, female hunting guide Eva Shockey, as well as Glenn Hall, host of Hawg Quest, the sharpshooters from TV’s Best of the West, and Jack Glass, principal of Hook Up Guide Service, will return to meet with the crowd. - Rod Easton, Fair and Events Supervisor Expo tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for youths aged 6 -13, with children 5 and under free. Hours are: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
At the Outdoor Adventure Expo, representatives will showcase the outdoor experiences, destinations, festivals and events in the Grays Harbor County. “We see local businesses are highly involved in the outdoor tourism markets. Along with hunting and fishing guides and lodging providers a wide range of vendors are participating in the yearly event. Exhibitors will share space at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds Pavilion with live demonstrations, outdoor products and activity promotions.
