ABERDEEN, Wash. - Police were called to the Gateway Plaza Wal-Mart store Tuesday afternoon when employees noticed a man pushing a cart full of merchandise slicing open packages. Police Captain John Green tells us when officers confiscated a knife with a six inch blade, they asked him if he had any other weapons, that's when the suspect pulled a 12 inch machete from his pants. Green said the man also had a quart of ice cream stuffed in a sweatshirt pocket, he was arrested for Theft in the Third Degree, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, as well as two outstanding warrants from Aberdeen.
