HOQUIAM, Wash. - City Council adopted a resolution supporting Hoquiam School Districts Maintenance and Operations Levy Monday night, with one "no" vote from Councilwoman Jasmin Dickoff "I would prefer to use my votes here to make decisions about budgets, and not influence people."

The Hoquiam graduate said her vote had nothing to do with the Levy itself. The February 14th M and O Levy provides support for education not fully funded by the State.
