MONTESANO, Wash. - Grays Harbor County is asking it's elected officials for donations from their paychecks, to help balance future budgets. County Commissioner Mike Wilson said a request sent last week to all elected officials encourages a %5 contribution of wages, paid directly to the County Treasurer. "They would come in just like any other fund, and go into the General Fund."
Wilson said the commissioners have donated %5 of their wages for the past three years, and encouraged any elected officials who were concerned about the budget to do the same.
