Elma Woman Strikes Disabled Vehicle While Being Fueled

McCleary, WA - An Elma woman rear-ended a disabled vehicle on Eastbound State Route 8 near McCleary yesterday, sending two to Mark Reed Hospital. The State Patrol tells us a 36 year old Tacoma man was fueling the disabled vehicle when it was struck, his passenger, in the vehicle at the time, complained of neck pain. The 41 year old Elma woman suffered neck and back injuries, and was charged with Negligent Driving in the second degree.
