Ocean Shores Dinged on State Audit

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. - The State Auditor's Office reports a finding against the City of Ocean Shores, stating the city's internal controls were inadequate to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in 2010. City staff cited turnover and layoffs in the financial department, and responded to the finding with the hiring of a full time Finance Director.
