Montesano, WA - Some Grays Harbor County court employees will take furlough days in 2012, County Commissioner Terry Willis explained "they can go on a shared work program that the state has put together. They draw from their own unemployment fund. It's to help counties like ours who need people to take a little bit of time off, without laying them off, in order to augment our budgets."
Willis said a memorandum of understanding signed yesterday extends the voluntary furlough program into 2012 for members of the Union Courthouse Division.
