Hoquiam School Addresses Peanut Allergy

Hoquiam, WA - A Peanut Allergy at Emerson Elementary in Hoquiam, Parents received letters last week describing the implications, and urging parents to help with an incoming student who suffers from the allergy. School Superintendent Mike Parker tells us "It's a life threatening allergy to peanuts, that's serious and I wouldn't want to loose a student over it, over something that we could resolve." Parker said the district has accommodated the allergy in the past with no problem, and thanked parents for their support.
